Meet Our Team
Ali Bloomer, MOT, OTR/L, PCES, CBS
Ali is a vibrant and dedicated occupational therapist who has a passion for working with maternal and pediatric populations. Ali obtained her bachelors degree in 2017 and went on to complete her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2020.
Ali has honed her skills working closely with children and their parents, making a positive impact on their lives. Ali prioritizes creating a safe and fun space for both her pediatric and maternal health clients. She has furthered her education by pursuing further instruction in the Size Matters Handwriting Program, Primitive Reflex Integration, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Ali is a certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist.
On a personal note, Ali is a proud mom of two spunky kids who have inspired her journey to create Dear Moms Therapy. She finds joy in going to the beach, reading and photography. Her own experiences during pregnancy and postpartum, including struggles with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy, latching difficulties, and navigating the highs and lows as she transitioned into her new role as a mother led her to realize the need for more resources and support for moms in similar situations. Ali and her husband navigated these challenges without a strong support system nearby and felt a calling to use her occupational therapy expertise to fill this gap.
Through Dear Moms Therapy, Ali aims to create a village for pregnant and postpartum moms who need extra support. With her background in occupational therapy and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by moms, Ali is committed to helping others navigate their own journeys with compassion and expertise. Get to know Ali and join her in creating a supportive community for moms everywhere.
Skai Pellerin, MOT, OTR/L, PCES
Skai is an occupational therapist dedicated to empowering and nurturing mothers on their transformative journey through motherhood. Skai's journey, both personal and professional, has driven her to create a space that provides comprehensive support and care for mothers at every stage of their occupation as parents.
Skai's educational journey began at Texas A&M University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience. Her academic foundation laid the groundwork for a career marked by dedication, empathy, and a deep understanding of human behavior and well-being. Next, she earned a master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Skai has practiced as a pediatric occupational therapist for four years working in tandem with parents to promote each child's success. Skai holds a certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and she has pursued further education in the Size Matters Handwriting Program, as well as Primitive Reflex Integration.
Skai's path toward co-founding "Dear Moms Therapy" is uniquely intertwined with her own personal journey. At the age of 28, she faced an unexpected diagnosis of a rare form of ovarian cancer. This life-altering experience introduced her to the world of fertility preservation treatment, igniting her own self-advocacy skills and an unwavering commitment to raising awareness of women's health issues.
Skai's own transformative experiences have deepened her understanding of the unique challenges and needs that mothers face. Recognizing that this population is often forgotten, she was inspired to create "Dear Moms Therapy." Her goal is to not only provide essential support but also be a strong voice for mothers who often go unheard. Skai is dedicated to assisting mothers in their roles, advocating for their well-being, and empowering them to navigate the complexities of motherhood with resilience and grace.
